Sharp AQUOS X LCD TVs ranging from 37 inch to 46 inch in diagonal feature AMINOM’s Wireless High-definition Interface, a technology that enables wireless flat panel displays to interface wirelessly to al High-Definition sources in home, keeping the same quality as with wired interfaces like HDMI.
This new technology is based on a video-modem approach to enable wirelessly uncompressed High-Definition TV via a 10 feet range over multiple walls, and with less than 1 second latency.

“WHDI is becoming the technology of choice for wireless HDTV,” said Dr. Yoav Nissan-Cohen Chairman and CEO of AMIMON Inc. “With AMIMON’s WHDI technology, consumers can enjoy wireless ultra-thin TV displays that are easy to install and easy on the eyes.”

Sharps’ new ultra-thin LCD models measure 3.44 cm thick and will are available in Japanese stores since March, and feature 15,000:1 contrast ratio, 12-bit BDE color, double speed of 120Hz frame rate conversion for full HD, 450 cd/m2 high brightness, 176 degrees viewing angle on both vertical and horizontal, 3-way 8-speaker system with 1-bit digital amplifier, and support Aquos Blu-ray Disc Players via Aquos Familink.

<-120x240 Vertical Banner - left->The latest LCD monitors introduced by Acer in the Business series are optimized for intensive use improving work productivity for business professionals, and come in a range from 17 inches to 24 inches in diagonal.

The 17-inch Acer B173 and 19-inch Acer B193 are 4:3 models, while 19-inch B193W, 20-inch B203W, 22-inch B223W and 24-inch B243W are wide displays, all sporting a stylish black design with the FlxArm system providing adjustments in height (15 degrees up, 5 degrees down), tilting and swiveling (35 degrees to the right and left) for the right monitor position and best ergonomics.

Important features of the new LCD monitors from Acer include dual input interface for analogue and digital signals, and a real power off button that saves energy.

The new B-series features 5 ms response time on all displays and contrast ratio that ranges from 2000:1 to 3000:1, dynamically adjusted by Acer’s Adaptive Contrast Management technology in charge with analyzing each scene to adjust the images frame by frame enhancing color and reducing power consumed.

Acer B models are available in North America at prices ranging between $205 and $399.

<-250x250 Square - right->Hitachi’s thinnest displays line measure only 1.5 inches thick and were presented at the Annual Dealer Show where the company announced the US availability of the new models.
They are both thin and stylish looking, and come in 32 inch, 37 inch, 42 inch and 47 inch, with the patented ventilation technology, backlight, superb crystal frame, and an overall elegant design.

The Director’s Series models will be available at prices ranging from $1,799 to $4,699, and some of them are already available while others will come out in August and September with a 2-year warranty.
The UltraVision V Series comes out this summer at prices ranging between $1,799 and $4,499.

At the beginning of this summer, ViewSonic will release on the market 2 new LCD HDTVs, measuring 42 inches and 4 inches in diagonal.

Featuring 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and ClearPicture with noise reduction and high-precision video processing, the two TVs included in ViewSonic’s NextVision LCD TV series are meant to deliver great imaging for a pleasant video experience.
The 42-inch model has a swivel base, 3 HDMI inputs for Blu-ray player support, 500 nits brightness, 20W stereo sound system integrated and will be available in June at a suggested price of $1,399.
