Samsung surprises us again by releasing its largest display, SyncMaster 820DXn, measuring 82 inches in diagonal.
Samsung’s largest format display is indeed impressive not only by its dimension but also with its key elements which make it one of the best solutions for corporate and commercial digital signage applications such as airports and retails locations.
Its new Digital Information Display panel lowers the temperature of the screen and supports high-demanding commercial applications, integrating built-in fans.
More impressive is that the model comes with a built-in computer powered by an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3400+ clocked at 1.8GHz, no less than 4GB flash memory, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, an ATI chipset, and the Windows XPe operating system.
The users can control the content of a number of displays via a single computer using only the MagicNet Pro software which also allows the easy drag-and-drop method for transferring files between network operators.
Samsung announced that the new large display features a 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, high brightness, full HD resolution, extremely clear image in all types of environments, 8 ms response time, and 178 degrees viewing angle.
The starting price for Samsung SyncMaster 820DXn is of $76,999 and is available at the company’s resellers and distributors.
