A 2-in-1 Digital Picture Frame & Printer From Smartparts

No matter how much I love gadgets and new technologies, I never cared about digital picture frames. Why? They may look nice in your bedroom, living room or on your desktop, at work(very useful when you are changing your wife often enough...), but they have no practical use to me. Well, today I just found a digital photo frame that looks very interesting, since it's more than "just another one", so I may change my mind pretty soon and grab one...
SP8PRT

At the PMA 2008, held in Las Vegas, Smartparts presented world's first digital photo frame with a built-in photo printer. Pictured above, this device is codenamed "SP8PRT", and allows you to print any picture stored on the frame's memory with just a push of a button.

Unfortunately, there's no detailed technical data available yet, so we should be happy to know that the printer is nicely placed behind the LCD screen of the SP8PRT, so this unique photo frame is not bulky at all. The SP8PRT comes with one dye-sublimination color cartdrige fully loaded with paper and ink, ready to roll! All you have to do is load it into the frame, and start printing, but...we have no information about price and availability at this time, so hang on in there, we'll get back with news regarding this product as soon as we find out it's out there, on the market, waiting to be grabbed!
