A New 22-inch Wide LCD Monitor From Mitsubishi

The Mitsubishi Group is a Japanese conglomerate founded back in 1870, with over 30 core companies, and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is the one in charge of designing and manufacturing UPS devices, photovoltaic panels or TVs. Anyway, today we won't talk about these, because Mitsubishi just announced the release of a brand new 22-inch LCD monitor...
Mitsubishi Diamondcrysta WIDE

As you can see above, the design of the new RDT222WM-S model won't probably win any "LCD design beauty contest", but I can't call it "ugly" either. After all, what's good an outstanding design without being backed up by some serious features? Now, let's see what Mitsubishi has in store for us with this model, shall we?

The 22-inch wide display here has a native 1,680X1,050 pixels resolution, 5ms response time, 300cd brightness, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and comes with a HDMI input, DVI-D HDCP and D-SUB, as well as 2X1W built-in stereo speakers.

This "Diamondcrysta WIDE" monitor is available in white or black finishes, for a price of 59,800JPY(560USD), but for now, you won't be able to find it anywhere else than in Japan...
