Acer Value

Together with the Business series, Acer launched also the elegant Value LCD monitor series destined for everyday use and available at an affordable price.
According to the company, Acer V series “meet the highest safety and reliability standards for the most comfortable and productive viewing” and come in dimensions ranging between 17 inches and 24 inches, and 4:3, 16:10 formats.

If you press the button from the bottom of the LCD display the screen detaches from the base and you can pack it and carry with you anywhere you go.

Contrast ratios range from 2,000:1 to 3,000:1 and the monitors also have fast response times of 5 ms, while the brightness is of up to 400 cd/m2.
The Acer eColor Management technology encountered at the B monitor series, is available also in the Value series and it is meant to adapt the screen to environment changes such as the light conditions and allow the user set the viewing preferences like Standard Mode, Text Mode, Graphics Mode or User Modes, the latter providing some basic settings for personalization.

Acer Adaptive Contrast Management is a system in charge with the adjustment of the contrast ratio for extra sharpness. The technology accomplishes this by analyzing each image frame and enhancing color rendering.
Another technology adopted by both B and V LCD monitors is Acer eDisplay management, a utility that lets the user set resolution, brightness, contrast, focus, position, and advanced color calibration.

Acer Value monitors have prices ranging from $185 to $249 and the models available are the following: V173, V193, V193W and V223W.
