The AOC e2343Fi is a 23 inch monitor that has an iPhone built in dock. The dock is located directly under the screen, on the monitor’s base making it very accessible. The monitor is very snazzy and can blow up images from your iPhone by a factor of 37. The bezel is very think and the slick black frame is so stylish and pleasing to the eyes.
Once you place your iPhone on the dock, you can shoot videos and access content directly from the phone to your monitor. On top of that, the dock also comes with SRS Premium Sound Speakers for better sound quality. The sound quality of the speakers in the monitor is very good that you can use your AOC monitor to watch movies or listen to your favorite music stored in the docked iPhone. Apart from that, the dock is a very handy place to keep your Apple device and at the same time charge your iPhone while docked at your computer.
This monitor can easily convert your normal computer monitor into a multimedia station because of its ability to shoot videos from the iPhone and improve the audio visual quality on the monitor screen. The good news is that you can use the dock for all other Apple products as well because they all use the same proprietary connector. Therefore you can use the docking station for your iPods and iPads as well. However, placing the iPad under your monitor screen may appear too big and inappropriate.
Apart from the 23” monitor AOC will also be displaying a new mobile USB display. This mobile USB display will have multi-purpose functionalities such as a portable monitor, digital photo frame thereby doubling its value. Unfortunately, neither the price nor the time of availability of either of the products is known so far.
The e2343Fi is definitely something to look forward to for all Apple enthusiasts. AOC said that this monitor is specifically designed for the Apple community and the million fans of their products. If you were wondering whether the only purpose of the monitor was to act as a multimedia station for your Apple device, then fret not. The monitor can even do what it is accustomed to without its docked companion.
