The new
V2400W LCD model released yesterday is what BenQ announced to be the world’s thinnest 24-inch widescreen display measuring just 2.44 inches at its thickest point.
Designed for the sophisticated customers, the model actually won the prestigious iF Design Award for its interesting asymmetry and aerodynamic curves inspired by the spectacular B-2 stealth bomber.
Besides BenQ’s new Kinergy Design, the display model features 4000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, full 1080p HD support and the Rapid Heat Cycle Molding injection technology which allows the construction of new shapes molded beyond the classic boxiness.
Other key features are HDMI with HDCP, DVI-D, VGA, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 16.7 million colors, 160/160 degrees viewing angle, the Senseye+photo Human Vision Technology delivering very realistic vivid colors, Dynamic/Photo/Standard/Movie/sRGB preset viewing modes, and the Advanced Motion Accelerator Technology creating a fast 2 ms grey-to-grey response time.
You will be able to get your hands on the BenQ B-2 display starting April in European stores.
"The V2400W is inspired by the B2 stealth bomber, evoking a sense of mystery, awe and the elite" says Manfred Wang, Director of the BenQ Lifestyle Design Center. In addition, the display’s asymmetry exemplifies our new design philosophy. One is captivated by its suspended energy, expecting the screen to tilt. But it stands still, as if time was frozen and the movement paused."
