Samsung SyncMaster XL30 LED BLU received the Best Display TIPA award for its unique capabilities important in color-sensitive commercial applications such as desktop publishing, photography, graphic design and video editing.
It is a 30-inch professional monitor introduced in January by Samsung Electronics America, featuring embedded color management system, 123% NTSC color gamut, unlike traditional LCDs that come with 82% of the NTSC, LED backlight, and several others, which combine to deliver extremely accurate color temperature, linearly color tracking, high brightness uniformity and great color reproduction.
In addition, Samsung SyncMaster XL30 LED BLU uses its Image Viewer intuitive tool for correcting color differences between monitors and printers, while the Natural Color Expert software helps in calibrating the screen’s color profile to fit specific color requirements.
The LCD monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and sells for around $4,500.
