Ceiva Photo Frames

The new Digital Photo Frames from CEIVA are the first photo frames that can be fully customized with graphics. This new product comes as a perfect gift for the upcoming Mother’s Day and seems to be a special frame indeed.

These fully connected frames are able to receive photos from anywhere in the world using a connection with a phone line, broadband or even wireless network. Another interesting fact is that through this gadget you can also send pictures to other friends or family members that posses a CEIVA frame: just upload the photos to CEIVA’s website, choose pictures’ destination and CEIVA will do the rest of the job. Simple isn’t it?

Once a picture is uploaded, you can decorate it with text and designs picked-up from the CEIVA website. More than that, you can also create your own custom design, just use your imagination.
I think this is a perfect gift for every Mom out there and, by being able to receive photos almost instantly with such easiness like plugging the frame into a broadband network for example, makes it a very interesting gadget.

Pricing for the Digital Photo Frames is $199.99, a special price for a special day: Mother’s Day and for an extra custom design you must pay an extra $29.99.
Wrap it, give it to your Mom and start sending pictures to her. She’ll love it!

While the new Ceiva frames have some unique features, after extensive product testing of both Ceiva and other competitors' frames, Which Frame? has identified Ceiva as one of the digital picture frame brands to avoid.

While the frame itself is fine, taking advantage of the wireless capabilities is almost a nightmare. Ceiva advertises all of the wireless functions; however, once you purchase the frame, you find out you need a wireless or broadband adapter for another $40. Then, once you get that, you find out that you can sign up for a free account on Ceiva's website. The account is free, but Picture Plan costs extra, and the account is completely useless withouth Picture Plan which costs up to $159.95 per year or $15.95 per month. There are tricks around every turn it seems with Ceiva's frames. The box advertises 3 free months with Picture Plan, but when you try to sign up, it only offers 1.5 months and requires your credit card information for billing purposes.

Which Frame? recommends Kodak as the best brand in digital picture frames with respect to quality, ease-of-use and reliability. Please visit http://www.whichframe.com for more information.

Ceiva digiframes are the best choice if you have friends and family who live out of state or in another country. Yes, there's a subscription for $10 a month, or less if you bundle it. But it's well worth it to to be able to send photos to your frame or to your family's frames. I can't imagine having to ship a memory card to my brother to upload my photos, and emailing my photos takes too long. I used to use Flickr, but I wanted to be able to view my photos when I wasn't using my computer. When I bought a frame for my grandmother, I set it up for her, so she didn't have to do anything technical. Everyone on her floor at the assisted care living facility loves seeing her new photos from all of us.

I'm a Mom and all I can say is that I LOVE my Ceiva. I love how easy it is to add new pictures to it. Last year, we went on vacation to Williamsburg. As I took pictures I would go back to the the hotel and send pictures back to our frame at home. When we returned home there were all our good memories greeting us on our frame. Plus, the fact that I can set it up so that my sisters can send pictures of their kids right to the frame is a delight. There really are so many good things I can say about this product.
