In the past, fewer people used to have a computer, which was usually used especially in the office, at work. Nowadays, almost everyone has a computer and in this way, the request for different types of PCs, with different accessories and special features has increased. One of the problems people often encounter when searching for a computer or a certain computer component, such as the monitor is not being able to decide which one to buy. This problem is caused by the numerous and various offers present on the market, from which it is sometimes too challenging to discover which one is really the best offer for us. Also, this difficult choice is very often caused by the price of that certain PC that seems to be the right one for our needs and choices. Certainly, all of us would like to have a very good computer, with many accessories included and with many new features presented in the offers but the problem is whether we can afford a certain type of computer or not and also whether its features really balance the price that is being asked for it or not.

Taking in account all of the financial problems encountered by every person nowadays, there is a high request for cheap computers, and, as the monitors represent a very searched component of a computer there is also a high request for cheap computer monitors.

Every consumer' ideal when searching for a computer component would be to find one that is good and in the same time cheap. It might seem easy as there are many offers that sound good in this respect, but the truth is that it might get very challenging to find a good, cheap computer monitor.  The main cause for this is the fact that many people misunderstand the meaning of the word cheap, which is sometimes understood as in low cost, and other times as not so well equipped, or with not so many necessary features incorporated. In this way they can buy a monitor with confidence that they are really getting what they want to pay for.

Nowadays there are two basic types of computer monitors: the CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) type and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) one. The CRT type is considered the old-fashioned model and the LCD the new type. In what concerns the price, it is considered that if you are looking for a cheap computer monitor you would have a better chance to find one among the CRT models, rather than among the Liquid Crystakl Display type. LCDs are considered to be more expensive, but in the same time better as they are considered improved versions of the old model, being thinner, lighter and easier to clean. Also they consume less electricity and have a nicer appearance. There are also new improved CRT computer monitors which can be cheaper or more expensive depending on what accessories are included and what special features they presents.  There are many different opinions when discussing about what would be the best choice when buying a good, cheap computer monitor.  In the end, it all depends on every person's choice on taking this decision.

A computer monitor is considered the most important component in everyone's computer. This is why we need to be certain that we get what we pay for when we decide to buy a certain model. We all want to find a good, cheap computer monitor and even if sometimes it seems impossible to be able to do this , it is not.
