Comparing 24 Inch Computer Monitors

Nowadays, technology is an important part of our life. We are all interested in learning more about all sorts of electronic devices that might prove to be useful for us to work with so as for us to be able to work easier during many of our daily activities. There are many electronic devices which have been manufactured in this respect.



Many of them have also been very much improved in the last few years so that we might be given the opportunity of choosing to work with better quality devices which might make all of our activities more pleasant to get involved in. Computers are essential devices in this respect.


They are widely used and there are many ways in which we can all get better informed about all sorts of improvements having been made to them. Such improvements interest us especially because some of them refer to ways in which we can become more effective by properly using such devices and in this way in becoming more productive in all sorts of activities in which otherwise it would be much harder for us to get involved in. Among the numerous aspects of interest these days, ways of comparing for example 24 inch computer monitors might also be mentioned as many users have shown an interest in working with this type of monitors for certain purposes. There are various models of 24 inch computer monitors, both cathode ray tube type and liquid crystal display type available nowadays. Two of these models are represented by LG W2453V and Dell ST2410.

When discussing about the idea of comparing two 24 inch computer monitors such as the ones mentioned above there are certain features and specifications related to them which need to be taken in account. In this respect, it can be made a comparison between their resolutions which are both of 1920 x 1080 pixels and which can be considered in this way as a common characteristic of the two, between their contrast ratios which is are of 1000:1 and respectively of 50000:1 in the case of the monitor presented by Dell Company and also between many other features. LG W2453V presents a brightness of 300 nits, while the second model of 24 inch computer monitors being considered presents one of 250 cd/m2. Their maximum response times are of 2 ms in the first case and of 5 ms in the latter.

Other features which cane be considered when comparing two 24 inch computer monitors such as the two models being taken in consideration are the viewing angle, and the dot pitch as well as many others. In what concerns the viewing angle, in the first case we can mention that the horizontal one of 170 degrees is different for the vertical one of 160 degrees, while in the second case they are both of 160 degrees. In what concerns their dot pitch it can be mentioned the fact that they are both of 0.277 mm.


There are many features and specifications which can be considered when comparing 24 inch computer monitors. Any analysis of this type will reveal both similarities and differences which will enable users in distinguishing between the two models of computer monitors and in being able to decide which of them might be more appropriate for them to consider as a possibility of choice and use.
