Computer monitors are also important from this point of view. When we use computers we need to have the results very well displayed for us and for this to be made possible a good quality computer display is required. There are many features and specifications which users should analyze when trying to decide whether a computer monitor might actually be appropriate for them to use so as for them to be productive in their world activities. One of these features is represented by the computer monitor resolution which should also be considered by users in their analysis on different models of computer displays.

When analyzing the computer monitor resolution it is first of all important for us to actually understand what it refers to. In this respect, it needs to be mentioned the fact that the resolution represents the number of distinct pixels in each of the dimensions which are displayed. Usually we have got used to finding the screen resolution measured in pixels but it should be made aware in his respect the fact that in this case it has been considered the fact that it is not actually represented the resolution of the computer monitor on which the actual images is being formed as if this were the case the measurement should be made in pixels per inch.
When considering computer monitor resolutions it is also important to be mentioned the fact that they are most often higher than the ones presented by TV monitors. One of the resolutions which has become very familiar among computer users in time is the 1024 x 768 format. Nowadays, many users have also become familiar with many other computer monitor resolutions as there are many models of computer displays available and many of them present diverse features among which resolutions are also known to be diverse as well. Another familiar resolution among users these days is the 1280 x 1024 one which has become very popular for desktop usage.

The resolution presented by a computer monitor is important to be considered by users when they analyze a certain model of computer displays. Other features which should be considered as well are the contrast ratio, the aspect ratio, the viewing angle, the brightness, the power consumption, the dot pitch and many others which are all important as they influence the performance of the computer monitor one way or another.
