Latest NEC Desktop Monitors


NEC Display Solutions of America recently added three new wide desktop LCD displays to the AccuSync series, models destined for the medium business sector.

The smallest monitor is the AccuSync ASLCD174WXM that measures 17 inches being very sleek and thin, has a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 800:1 contrast ratio, plus NEC’s key characteristics such as the ECO Mode, an onscreen feature that reduces brightness and consumes 30% less power compared with other similar monitors.

The Ambix dual-input technology, Rapid-Response technology for black-to-black 8ms response time delivering undistorted high-speed full motion videos, and NaViSet and other important features of this LCD desktop display which enhance the image quality and offer a GUI with On Screen Display settings adjusting capability which is done via keyboard and mouse.

More than that, AccuSync 17” monitor comes with built-in multimedia speakers, and will be available in March, together with the other two models, at a price of $209.99.

The difference between the 17-inch model and the other two is that AccuSync ASLCD194WXM is a 19-inch monitor with 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5 ms response time, while the ASLCD224WXM is a 22-inch with 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1680 x 1050 native resolution, 900:1 contrast ratio, and 5 ms response time.

The 19-inch model will cost $299.99 and the 22-inch AccuSync will be available at $329.99.
