Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool offered the Gold qualification to Lenovo for its ThinkVision monitors line that meets the highest environmentally responsible standards.
Lenovo is the only company that has received such a distinction for its monitors and the line includes ThinkVision L151, L171, L171P, L194 Wide, L190X, L220X Wide, L174 and L197 Wide.
The last two models are new and introduce a new technology that reduces power consumption based on fewer bulbs used in the system and the addition of new brightness enhancement films, ensuring greater performance.
According to TUV Rheinland of Germany product testing and certification company, the L174 and L197 Wide are consuming 25-35% less electricity than other ThinkVision models.
This spring, both new monitors will be released on the market starting with Lenovo’s official website and continuing with the business partners.
ThinkVision L174 will have a starting price of $239.99, while the ThinkVision L197 Wide will cost $259.99.
The full specification list will be made public during April-May.
