NEC TFT Modules

At the end of July, NEC will ship it’s new low-temperature polysilicon TFT LCD modules measuring 2.7 inches in diagonal and featuring outstanding high pixel density, under the name NL9654HL06-01J.
The high pixel density is of 413 pixels per inch and these displays support quarter high-definition resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 70% wide color gamut, and 300 cd/m2 brightness.

If embedded in video camcorders these modules enable very accurate focus adjustment and so they can be used for color checking via the viewfinder with no need for external monitors.
Besides high pixel density, NEC’s NL9654HL06-01J modules feature 960 x 540 pixel resolution compatible with full HD of 1920 x 1080 pixel.

Other 3 LCD modules introduced by NEC are the 4.3-inch color TFT with WQVGA resolution and 600 cd/m2 brightness, the 3.5-inch TFT with VGA resolution and high transmissivity accomplished by combining the TFT technology with super-transmissive natural-light, and a 2.7-inch TFT with 500 cd/m2 brightness and QVGA resolution.
