NECs TileMatrix technology makes it possible to connect up to 25 displays via a single video source, eliminating the additional costs and complexity of splitters and amplifiers used when connecting to multiple sources.
This technology is used in the new TileMatrix Video Wall Solution which supports four NEC 46-inch MultiSync LCD4620-2-IT displays designed with an ultra-thin-bezel of 16.5mm, fitting video wall applications, while the system also comes with TileComp feature to make the image look crisp at the edges.
The mounting system is the Digital Factory PerfectAlign with Extron high-performance cables, and the Tripp Lite surge suppressor.
Other characteristics include the XtraView wide-angle viewing technology, 16 ms response time for full motion video, 700 cd/m2 brightness, 1800:1 contrast ratio, 1366 x 768 pixel native resolution, real-time clock for content scheduling and monitor sleep/wake management, leading to improved energy saving, Extron 15-pin HD Male to BNC Male cable for computer video transmission, Extron BNC Male to Male Five Conductor MHR coaxial cable for high-resolution, video signal distribution, and Tripp Lite Isobar6 surge suppressor with six outlets preventing system crashes, reboots and performance problems.
The full NEC solution is available at around $18,999.
“The TileMatrix video wall bundle delivers a complete cost-effective solution for dynamic digital signage,” declared Jeff Blankensop, Director of Business Development at NEC Display olutions. “The improved color and brightness uniformity in the new MultiSync LCD4620-2-IT displays coupled with its ultra-thin bezel allow for near seamless video wall configurations for a broad array of markets.”
