NEC has just announced the releasing of its new MultiSync LCD5220 high definition LCD TV for April, at a street price of around $8,150.
The new professional TV model is a 52-inch widescreen with enhanced contrast, brightness and color, perfect for sunlight areas, and with the SpectraView II color calibration kit that maintains the color uniformity and fidelity.

It is just 19 mm thin and can be used in video-wall and multiple-display environments.
The Digital Signage Technology Suite used in its development allows the multi-display networks management, and includes 30 advanced characteristics that improve the screen performance.



There is also the U-shaped backlight system with fluorescent bulbs to ensure the correct heat distribution and to uniform the brightness, plus the following extra features: 16:9 aspect ratio, 700 cd/m2 brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 8ms response time, a sealed module that prevents dust and smoke from entering the housing, TileMatrix for video walls consisting of up to 25 fisplays in a 5x5 matrix measuring 20 feet in diagonal, CableComp+ equalizator for the video signal meant to reduce the color distortion improving sharpness, Rapid Response technology, diverse input connectors, built-in expansion slot, an optional stand, and optional speakers.
