New NEC Display for the Medical Sector

During HIMSS Conference in Orlando between February 25-28, you have the chance to see the new medical display from NEC, called MultiSync MD205MG.
The flat panel monitor is a 5MP grayscale model has also a bundled solution, the NEC MD205-DRV, which includes two displays and an advanced video card useful for medical applications.

The MultiSync MDline is designed for the medical sector and consists of high-quality LCD monitors enhanced for Picture Archiving and Communication System, radiology, MRI, CT nad 3D.
The model announced has a resolution of 1560 x 2048 pixels, with advanced in-plane switching technology for very detailed medical images, 3,061 gray shades, backlight sensor, DICOM calibration, a 30 ms response time, and 600:1 contrast ratio.

It comes with the GammaCompMD software that supports several sensors for calibration, and is built with fully disposable plastics, materials that are not hazardous like cadmium, hex-chrome, PBB and PBDE, and tiny amounts of mercury and lead.
Also, using the pivoting stand, it can be placed in the portrait or landscape positions.

The NEC bundled solution has a price of $19,999,99 and the MD205MG model comes with a 3-year warranty and Advanced Overnight Exchange service.
