In a discussion on panels in LCD monitors users should also be mentioned the fact that usually IPS types of panel technology is considered as the best one and influences the image quality, the color accuracy and the viewing angles in all sorts of LCD monitors which include it. The Vertical Alignment (VA) type of technology is also considered a good one, better that the Twisted Nematic (TN) one. It is also said to determine a good type of color reproduction and viewing angles which are wider than the ones presented by the TN technology, but in exchange response times are considered lower than the ones presented by monitors including the TN technology.

In the end, all technologies present advantages and disadvantages and the same applies to panels included in LCD monitors as well. There are many aspects which could be taken in account when discussing about them and all sorts of comparisons can be made so as for users to establish which they consider to be the best one to be included within an LCD monitor so as for them to be offered the opportunity to have great imaging experiences.
