Samsung introduced the world’s first 3D-ready plasma TV in the 450 series. The models are optimized for gaming and movie experiences allowing the user to watch 2D DVD in 3D, play a wide range of PC games in 3D, and enjoy 3D content.
Samsung Plasma 450 features an impressive dynamic contrast of 1,000,000:1, 720p HD resolution, the FilterBright technology which is anti-glare, the ACE editor to reduce picture noise, the SRS TruSurround XT audio together with speakers to unveil an outstanding surround sound enhancing your video experience.
Other technologies include anti-burn-in, 100,000 hours panel life, 175 degrees viewing angle on both vertical and horizontal, Natural True Color with 18bit processing, NTSC/ATSC tuner with Clear-QAM, hot key for Sports/Game/Movie modes, and the High-Definition three-dimensional capability.
The new 3D HDTV technology from Samsung is meant to play your images at 120 frames per second, delivering 2 separate streams of 3D video – one for each eye – removing any flicker.
Samsung Plasma 450 is available in 42” and 50” dimensions at $ 999.99 and $2299 respectively.

i bought this tv about a month ago…and LOVE it. i was a little weiry about buying 720P but the PS3 looks awesome on it. put it next to 1080P and i bet you wouldnt notice the difference.
also very nice for movies etc.
