Samsung is one of the largest LCD displays manufacturer in the worl, and they couldn't have missed the opening month of this year without announcing some interesting LCD TVs scheduled to be released in the coming months. Since they are always covering the entire price range, from low-end models, to expensive high-end displays for video addicts that can afford them, they announced the introduction of new models in the 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 LCD sets...

The 4 and 5 series belong to the entry-level price range and feature set, with sizes between 19 and 40-inches and 3 HDMI inputs for the first, and full HD 1080p support and touch senzitive controls, for a size between 32 and 50-inch, in the second case.

The 6 series is the first ever flat panel TV that's manufactured without using any glue or screws, and comes in Samsung's trademark black gloss, and just a bit of red. Its features include 120Hz refresh, 4 HDMI 1.3 inputs, 1920X1080 resolution, and an impressive contrast ratio of 30,000:1.

Just near the top, the 7 series add DivX and MPEG 4 playback capabilities via the USB port, and RSS via Ethernet, sporting 1GB internal Flash Memory. The sizes available are 40, 46 and 52-inch.

At last, we have the impressive (and very expensive, I am sure) 9 series, with LED Smart Lighting Technology backlighting that enable the TV to achieve an incredible contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

Unfortunately, no data about prices and availability is yet known, but we'll keep you in touch, you can bet on that!
