Touch Of Color

A new display line named “Touch Of Color” (TOC) has been announced by Samsung Electronics. Two monitors are available now (the T190 with a 19” display and T220 with a 22” display) and two others will be available in July (the T240 24” and T260 26”).
All those four monitors are designed to be extremely energy efficient, thanks to the function called SoftPower off that allows users set the monitor immediately to standby mode so the power consumed will be of only 0.3 watts.

The T190 and T220 have a 2ms GTG response while the T240 and T260 have a 5ms response time, ensuring an image quality with no blur. The latest two also offer HDMI connection for peripheral devices.

All those 4 monitors deliver a 20.000:1 contrast ratio. Featuring the MagicColor smart color control, the MagicBright Dynamic Contrast control, MagicTune for display settings and the multi screen functionality, this new display line is designed to combine an attractive style with high functionality to satisfy customers’ needs.
With power consumption up to 50% less than other monitors of same sizes, the “Touch Of Color” line seems to be a smart choice for regular users in searching for high-functionality and energy efficient display.

Pricing has also been announced, so for a T190 people have to pay $259 and for T220 $359. The T240 will have an ESP of $499 and the T260 will cost $599 but as we were saying above, these two monitors will be available in July.
